Our Programs and Services

Koordak Aboriginal Corporation is dedicated to celebrating Aboriginal cultural heritage and supporting the educational growth of Aboriginal students. Located in Ellenbrook, our key initiatives focus on Aboriginal Arts and Cultural Development and Homework Classes in partnership with Malvern Springs Primary School. Join us in our journey to empower the Aboriginal community through education and the arts.


Please note we no longer offer Food Assistance, and Social Support Service due to funding restriction. 



Our Mission

At Koordak our mission is to preserve and promote Noongar Cultural Heritage, enhance educational outcomes for students, and foster community collaboration and economic sustainability and development. We strive to create a vibrant, inclusive, and supportive environment for the our Aboriginal community in Ellenbrook and beyond.


Our Team

Crystal Quartermaine, and Thalia Rossi are the passionate individuals who drive our mission forward. Our overall team consists of volunteers of many specialise, community leaders, artists, and professionals dedicated to making a positive impact.

We are committed to promoting and preserving Noongar Arts and Culture. Our programs include workshops and classes led by local Aboriginal Artists, and collaborations with art organisations for exhibitions. Explore the beauty and significance of Noongar Art through our initiatives.


Overview

Our Noongar Arts and Cultural Development initiative aims to celebrate and preserve the rich artistic traditions of the Noongar Community. By providing a space for creation, exhibition, and education, we empower local artists and share their work with a broader audience.

All session are led by experienced our local Noongar Artists, Leaders, and Elders these sessions offer hands-on experience and cultural insights.
